BASEBALL BACKSTOPS FENCES GALLERY
Baseball backstops are made from heavy guage chainlink fencing and steel galvanized posts which are durable and give high visibility for the people watching the game. There are many different types and sizes of backstops for different age levels in baseball and softball leagues.
You can incorporate covered or uncovered dug-outs for the players and their equipment. We also install 2" x 12" pressure treated douglas fir back boards at the bottom of the backstop sections to protect the chainlink from the balls hitting it. Additional lengths of chainlink fence can be joined to the backstop to provide more safety for the observers when balls are being hit out of the baseball park area. Special batting and pitching cages can be built in the park to give the players a protected area to practice. Chainlink fences (usually 4’ to 5’ tall) are installed in the outfield for protection for wandering adults, children and dogs and a delineation for determining a home run hit. We have also added covering and framing over bleacher stands to protect the fans from sun and rain. Walk gates and drive gates can also be installed in the park’s fences.
There are other products available that will add to the funcionality of your baseball park such as tarps with grommets that can be attached to the top of dug-outs for protection from the weather. We also have plastic covers for the top rails of the chainlink fences that people lean on.
We have been building and repairing backstops, batting cages and the fencing for baseball parks for years and look forward to helping you with your baseball park project.
