Western Red Cedar Stack fence is constructed from western red cedar rails that are roughly 4" to 5" thick and are set in a zig zag style. The stack fence works well for a decorative touch usually in conjunction with a rustic garden theme.

This fence is typically set approx. 3´ to 3 1/2´ tall but can be stacked higher. The rails can be set with rebar or pieces of rail set on both sides of the stacked rails and concreted to support them. Split rail red cedar fence is constructed from rails that are roughly 5" to 5" thick and set in a two rail or three rail formation. The 8´ or 10´ long rails have a notch on the ends that slips into a hole in the posts for anchoring. The posts are usually set in concrete. This is a great fence for front yards and gardens and a livestock fence for horses and sheep.
