Picket fences can be made from wood and man made products such as vinyl or composite materials. The design possibilities for a picket fence is limitless and gives a nostalgic cottage look to any yard.

The appearance of the pickets can customized in many ways. The tops of the boards can be ´dog eared´ etc, the pickets can be ´sandwiched´ between the rails, 2x6 top caps can be added and even lattice will be used if desired. Rails, pickets or posts can be finished with custom effects like bevels, additional trim or post caps. Of course only the best wood is used, either pressure treated Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar or Construction Heart Redwood.
